This blog is for Establishing Worldwide Communities through Technology - MD 469: a class offered to students in the Graduate Education program at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
We are all educators who are hoping to make a difference in our students' lives by finding ways to collaborate with teachers and classes from around the world. Since technology is changing the way we interact with people on a daily basis, it makes sense for us to use it effectively within our schools in order to broaden their horizons. The best way to accomplish this goal is by collaborating with each other (not just students within the class, but with educators from around the world as well).
Through this blog, we hope to continue our discussions and develop further collaborative projects that can actually be used within our schools. We welcome input and participation from anyone who shares our goals.
Let's start collaborating!

It would be very exciting if educators from other parts of the world started contributing to our blog. I look forward to seeing that happen!
